Before exploring the powerful camera features, let’s recap on the new phone’s unrivalled battery power. The large 7500mAh silicon-carbon cell allows for an incredible three days of battery life, with tests showing that it can cope with up to 52.5 hours of music streaming, 23.8 hours of online video playback, 16.8 hours of gaming and 12.3 hours of video chat on one single charge.
So that is more than enough power to cope with photography and video recording. The Honor Magic8 Lite can handle the most demanding winter photo trips too, as the battery performs well in temperatures from -30°C to 55°C.
Additionally, the ultra-power saving mode enables the device to maintain continuous calls for up to 60 minutes when the battery drops to 2%, while the 66W wired Honor SuperCharge can rapidly revive the battery for extended usage.

Indeed, the Honor Magic8 Lite is the most durable smartphone on the market, offering an industry-first SGS 5-Star Comprehensive Reliability Certification to withstand drops from heights of up to 2.5 meters.

The Three-layer Water Resistance Structure can also survive rinsing, splashing, thick and dirty water, and even immersion in very hot water for up to 10 seconds!
Lite, but not light on camera features
For smartphone photographers, the Honor Magic8 Lite also packs a lot of power to ensure you get the best-possible photo and video quality.
- The 108MP ultra-sensing camera features a 1/1.67-inch large sensor for capturing images with lots of detail and enhanced brightness, even in tough low-light conditions. The main camera is equipped with both optical and electronic image stabilisation, effectively reducing blurring and shakiness.
- With the Honor Connection, the Honor Magic8 Lite allows for the transferring of photos between the phones and iPhones running iOS.
- A 4K HD moving photo collage function makes images more vibrant – enabling users to show off and share their best work with greater ease.
- The Honor Magic8 Lite integrates AI photography features like ‘AI Eraser’, ‘AI Cutout’ and ‘AI Outpainting’, which makes it much easier to edit and enhance photos on the phone.

A bright and colourful display
The Honor Magic8 Lite is very easy on the eyes too, whether for photography or general use. The 6.79-inch eye-comfort OLED display supports 1.07 billion colours and a high 1.5K resolution, delivering vibrant hues and fine details for a more immersive viewing experience.
With new ‘deuterated organic light-emitting materials’ and a high refresh rate of 120Hz, the display also showcases smooth motion and improved responsiveness for a more fluid user experience, while the peak brightness of 6000nits ensures a sharp and clear viewing experience.
In addition, eye-comfort features include 3840Hz PWM Risk-free Dimming[15], ‘Circadian Night Display’, ‘AI Defocus Display’, ‘Dynamic Dimming’ and ‘Hardware Level Low Blue Light’.
Powerful, with lots of storage
Powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chip , the Honor Magic8 Lite offers users a new level of system smoothness and higher graphical performance. Compared to the previous generation, its GPU performance has improved by 29% and CPU by 11%. This power efficiency is complemented by Honor’s RAM Turbo Technology, which effectively provides a 16GB RAM equivalent experience (8GB physical + 8GB virtual).
