World Food Photography Awards sponsored by Tenderstem® Bimi® Broccolini have announced the 2026 shortlist of the World Food Photography Awards sponsored by Tenderstem® Bimi® Broccolini competition. The competition is the world’s greatest celebration of food photography, with thousands of entries from over 50 countries around the world.
From growing, farming and harvesting to cooking, eating, celebrating and surviving, the images offer a unique insight into the lives of people around the world through the lens of food.
The winners of the 27 categories will be revealed on Tuesday 2nd June at the competition’s Champagne Taittinger Awards Evening in London, hosted by renowned Chef and Food Writer Gennaro Contaldo. The Overall Winner of the competition will take home a prize of £5,000.
A free-to-enter exhibition of all the 2026 Finalist images will premiere at The Mall Galleries, London, running from Wednesday 3rd June – Sunday 7th June. A selection of the images hand-picked by Fortnum & Mason will be displayed at their iconic store on Piccadilly from Tuesday 9th June.
This year’s international judging panel, chaired by legendary food photographer, David Loftus, includes: Claire Reichenbach, CEO, James Beard Foundation, Tom Athron, CEO, Fortnum & Mason, Rein Skullerud, Senior Photographer & Photo Editor, World Food Programme, Jamie Oliver, Chef, Restaurateur and Olia Hercules, Food Campaigner, Activist, Author and Chef.
